The Mothership Collective Brings Rally the Village Back With 160 Events Across North America and Beyond

Following a breakout first round that connected more than 3,000 women, the community-led series returns this September with gatherings extending to Japan, France, Australia and beyond.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — August 11, 2026 — Because motherhood was never meant to be done alone, The Mothership Collective is bringing Rally the Village back this September with 160 community-led events designed to help women find their people in real life.

The month-long series will bring women together in communities across North America, with international gatherings extending to countries including Japan, France, and Australia.

The idea grew from the question The Mothership hears more than any other: “How do I find my people?” Rally the Village hosts choose an activity that fits their local community, while The Mothership Collective provides the central platform, promotion, host support and backing from brand partners. Events are designed to be free to attend, aside from clearly disclosed costs such as trailhead parking.

During the first Rally the Village in May, women answered that question themselves by hosting 130 hikes, beach hangs, bike rides, stroller runs, paint parties, cold plunges, dance parties, campfires, coffee meetups and other gatherings. More than 3,000 women participated across the United States, Canada and beyond.

Most importantly, the connections continued after the official campaign ended. Hosts reported that attendees exchanged phone numbers, formed ongoing adventure groups and planned their next gatherings before the first ones were even over.

“Rally the Village proved that women are not lacking the desire for community; they are often just missing the invitation and a simple way to begin,” said Julie Bacon, founder of The Mothership Collective. “In May, moms showed up alone and left with a crew. September is about giving even more women the chance to make that first connection and build a community that lasts (or simply feel motivated to get out and do something fun!).”

Hosts described the impact in deeply personal terms.

“Since hosting the hike, I’ve already hung out with most of the mamas from the event twice this month, with plans for a lot more future hangs,” said Jessica Pham, a host in Utah.

In Ohio, host Liz Wheaton said her group was already talking about forming a mom-and-kid bike gang and planning more outdoor adventures. Claire, a host in Illinois, shared that her group had already scheduled another hike, adding, “Thanks so much for helping me find a crew that will wear sparkles on a hike.”

Rally the Village is supported by Mad Hippie, YES Bar, ZEAL Optics, BRAMI, SWOOP and NÜDL. Together, these partners are helping local hosts create welcoming, accessible experiences while demonstrating the power of investing in women-led communities at the grassroots level.

The complete September schedule is now live. Women can find a gathering near them and RSVP at mothership-collective.com/pages/rally-the-village.
